Scott Morrison, like his cognitive conspecific Paula White, believes in the prosperity doctrine of the group-delusional American Christian cult of Pentecostalism. According to their teachings and doctrines, Mr Morrison's imperial imaginary friend lays up the wealth of the wicked (atheists like the CPC) for the righteous (delusional sociopaths who believe they have a personal relationship with some god of the universe that favours them: Christian theists.) When they see talk of poverty alleviation, such obviously delusional, and, frankly, clearly mentally ill, fideists likely immediately think 'prosperity doctrine'. Now, some smug Jamesian pragmatist, parareligious, meta-religious (religious about the positive value of religion) faux-secularist dissimulators will rub their hands and say "A-ha: they're just clever manipulators of the dumb flock (herd). They don't really believe that nonsense".

In some cases that is likely true. However, these clearly delusional individuals are presented with an immediate set of actual, and rather insurmountable, logical dilemmas. One, in particular, is salient. Either

(Horn #1 of the logical dilemma) they DO really believe, and believe they're telling the truth, in which case they are quite literally mentally ill and in need of psychiatric treatment,

OR (exclusive or)

(Horn #2) they DON'T really believe, don't believe their statements correspond to reality, and can thus be fairly and reasonably interpreted as being charlatans who seek to profit from the discombobulation, and misinformational neutralisation, of the cognitively and socially disabled, uneducated, limited, and intellectually defective (including those beset by crippling anxiety due to – poverty). Like all logical dilemmas, there's really no way out via post-modern deconstruction (which has its place in intellectual life) or paraconsistent logic (also a powerful cognitive and epistemic tool.) The premises cannot be easily unseated. Prime Minister Scott Morrison, and his cognitive and doxastic conspecifics, are either delusional and sick, or else they are frauds.

There’s an even socially and psychologically darker (think dark triad personality traits) side to the prosperity doctrine of the delusional Christian cult of Pentecostalism – one that parallels many of the bizarre doctrinal bigotries of the cult of Christianity as a whole. A conclusion of the prosperity doctrine delusional is that if someone is not prosperous – it is because they are not right in their relationship with the imaginary godhead. In other words, if you are not with them in the delusion, you deserve to be poor and unsuccessful, and are a second class human and citizen. It's the selling of a bigotry based false power narrative to the ignorant and powerless, just has always been the case with the abusive Christian cult and it's vairous insanities. Nonetheless, the Chinese Foreign Minister has again demonstrated wisdom, and superior statesmanship, in accepting an (albeit duplicitous) discursive and rhetorical 'olive branch' from the Australian Prime Minister. Old people in their senescent dotage, and children, can be guided by patient condescension.
