New sanctions against Russian military-industrialists by US Treasury and Justice Department

The US Treasury and Department of State have announced sanctions targeting "[military technology] procurement agent Yury Yuryevich Orekhov (Orekhov) and two of his companies, Nord-Deutsche Industrieanlagenbau GmbH (NDA GmbH) and Opus Energy Trading LLC (Opus Energy Trading)", and also announced "action to counter systemic corruption and the Russian Government's persistent malign influence campaigns in Moldova".

These sanctions seem to be very specifically, and largely appropriately, targeted. However it's probably best not to use Ukraine as a proxy weapon against Russia at the same time.

There are a lot of Christian megacultists in the US administration - including Catholic megacultists. There are more Catholic megacultists (proportionally by demographic) in Ukraine than in Orthodox-Christofascist-megacult-dominated Russia. Poland, of course, is another Catholic megacult nation that borders both Ukraine and Belarus. If nothing else, it is difficult not to see the actions of the US as significantly motivated by geoeconomics, geostrategy, and specific religious-ideological predilections. The latter would seem to reflect in some real sense a global or international, behavioural projection of a habit of undermining the longstanding US prohibition against collusion of church and state.

Demographic statistics must be combined with a lot of other complex data, but there is no question they reveal important facts about what memetic narratives will be important in what ways to people in those regions.
