New policy to be added to the platform, with matching Parliamentary Petition

Progress applauds the approach of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Adern to China in rejecting the paranoid alarmism of the Five Eyes security alliance. We propose a Travel bubble for Chinese students, researchers, and scholars between Australia and all safe regions of China, including the Chinese province of Taiwan.

New Policy

29 (Currently). We will propose to the senate a bill for a research and university travel bubble with China (including Taiwan) and any other trading partner nation with demonstrated zero transmission rates (and especially no occurrences of Indian or other late mutated variants of the COVID-19). Our tertiary education export industry must be restored to pre-Morrison-administration levels.

A corresponding petition will be presented to the upper house of parliament in the next week.
