Back a petition to the Legislative Council to make infideliphobia illegal hate

Most of the large traditional megacults in Australia - such as the Christian megacult and its sects and the Islamic and Jewish megacults - have unambiguously anti-atheist or infideliphobic principles, language, commitments, and precepts as the core and basis of much of their doctrines and dogma...

Sydney Protests Against Islamic Republic by Iranian Australians

I fully support and endorse the recent protests in Sydney by Iranian Australians against the Islamic Regime of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. If any Iranian Australian would like my support at such rallies I am available to show my support on the day with speeches and petitions to both the NSW Legislative Council and The Upper House of Australian Federal Parliament.

First Nations

While I myself, like the majority of Australians, have no Indigenous Australian heritage, I am deeply concerned about what I consider to be very real ongoing structural genocide of First Nations peoples. Yet I am not  convinced about the Uluru Statement from the Heart, which I consider to be based upon Christian megacult narratives and thus not to be a statement from Australian First Nations peoples.

Back a petition to the Legislative Council to make anti-LGBTQ religious doctrine illegal hate speech.

Most of the large traditional megacults in Australia - such as the Christian megacult and its sects and the Islamic and Jewish megacults - have deeply homophobic and anti-LGBTQ language and precepts in their doctrines and dogma. These precepts and doctrinal commitments are not just peripheral to their doctrines but intrinsic to them...

Indigenous Voice to Parliament

Indigenous leaders who support the Voice to Parliament must be transparent about which, if any, Christian megacult or deistic megacult they belong too. So must any non-indigenous MPs or co-architects of The Uluru Statement. Otherwise there is not enough information available for the public to be fully informed for voting in a referendum. See Bruce's statement.

Diversity and LGBTQ

While I'm not myself LGBTQ, I support gay marriage and adoption of children by LGBTQ parents. I will support bills in NSW parliament that promote the safety and wellbeing of LGBTQ people in our communities. This especially applies to anti-discrimination, and combatting anti-LGBTQ hate speech from or by any media, government, or megacult institution. You will find video addresses regarding LGBTQ rights and associated bills on the video address page in the near future.

Support an e-petition to the State Legislative Council to means test churches for land tax.

I am seeking a minimum of five people willing to add their names and email addresses to a petition to the New South Wales State Legislative Council to make legislation to apply means-tested land tax to churches, mosques, and all other religious temples and institutions in New South Wales to help the New South Wales Treasury pay for infrastructure, public education, and development costs in the state...

Voluntary Assisted Dying

I endorse Dying With Dignity's petition to NSW parliament to pass voluntary assisted dying laws. The elderly and people with extremely distressing and terminal illnesses should not have to commit suicide to end their pain and suffering, and as a progressive I support the efforts of Dying With Dignity to ensure that future generations have better options.
